Military Hospitality Lounge

Why It’s Unique

Unlike commercial airport lounges, this space isn’t operated for profit. Funded entirely by donations and maintained by dedicated volunteers, the Military Hospitality Lounge is a heartfelt thank-you to those in uniform. Since replacing the former USO facility in 1998, it has evolved with community support. A major renovation in 2017 — with help from the Miami Marlins and Major League Baseball — brought updated furniture, appliances, and thoughtful patriotic décor that honors the military spirit.

Location & Contact

The lounge is located before security, near Air Margaritaville in Concourse E. Because it is pre-security, travelers must plan their visit before going through TSA. For more information or help finding the lounge, call (305) 876-7585.

Note: Overnight stays are not allowed. However, the nearby MIA Hotel on the same level offers convenient accommodation, and baggage storage is available at Continental Storage (Concourse E) from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
